The Friends of Steiner Museum publishes WILDERNESS CHRONICLE. This is a local history magazine that covers 11 northeastern Michigan counties. It depicts
the life and happenings of pioneers who came to this area. The ‘CHRONICLE’ is published four times per year, and has 68
pages. Stories about the area are welcome! The area is bounded by: South of Mackinaw Bridge, East of I-75, West of Lake
Huron, and North of M-55. This area includes the following counties of Michigan: Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Crawford, Iosco, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, and Roscommon.
You receive the WILDERNESS CHRONICLE magazine (four issues per year) by becoming a Friend of Steiner Museum. ($15
