Steiner Museum is a Pioneer and Logging Museum dedicated to preserving the history of Oscoda County and the pioneers who settled this area. It is devoted to collecting and displaying artifacts from those who settled our County.

Open Memorial Weekend thru Labor Day Weekend Annually.

Sunday & Saturday 11am - 4pm;
Holidays also Monday 11am - 2pm.

EVENTS SOON TO BE SCHEDULED: Watch our facebook page for updates on more events such as; Music at the museum, Art Show, Quilt Show, School Days. We are excited to announce that STEINER'S ROAD SHOW will premier next Fall/Winter. We will be bringing history to you! At several area locations we will host a historical movie with beverage and popcorn for an evening of fun. Watch our facebook for more information.

Pancake Breakfast

Time: 8am - 11am Museum opens with breakfast served by Steiner Museum Historical Commission and Oscoda County officials including Sheriff Grace at the grill. Come and enjoy pancakes, eggs, sausage, OJ, coffee and a good ole' country gathering. Entry is by donation.

Christmas Party

Pioneer Kids Christmas Party 2pm - 3pm. An old time Christmas Tree and Santa will be at the Museum for all the kids. Santa will hand toys to each child. Hot chocolate is served while a Christmas story is read aloud. Each child will receive a wooden ornament that we decorate onsite. Entry is by donation.
